Charles F. Rose

Charles F. Rose, 74, of Fall River, died Saturday, Sep. 18, 2010. He was employed by Slade Laundry and Bush Cleaners. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of VFW Post 486, Fall River. His survivors include six children, Charles Rose and Karen Correia, both of Florida, Bill Rose, Jane Souza, Gary Rose, all of Fall River and Susan Souza of Somerset, a brother, David Rose of Taunton, 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, his former wife, Edna (Watkinson) Rose-Soares of Fall River, and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Eldred A. and Mildred (Priest) Rose and the brother of the late Eldred "Pee Wee" Rose, Donald and William Rose. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 AM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
