Charles R. Lapre, 54, of Hurst Lane, Tiverton, son of Charles O. Lapre and the late Lillian M. (Rogers) Lapre, died unexpectedly, Sunday, April 19, 2009.
A Tiverton High School graduate, he owned and operated Jelcom, Inc., C L Communications/Wireless and Amusement Repair Service, Tiverton. A member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks and the Friends of Buddy's Place, Tiverton, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Besides his father of Port Charlotte, FL, he leaves 2 children, Elizabeth Wood and her spouse Heather Mills-Wood of Tiverton and James Lapre and his companion Jen Mello of Fall River; grandchildren, Tim and Adam Perry, Kallie, Kaleb and Ethan Mello and Skyler Freitas and his former wife Deborah (Glass) Padula of Tiverton.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a service at 3:00 PM.
