Charles Motta

Charles Motta, 84, of Brayton Ave., Fall River, son of the late Manuel and Cora (Faria) Motta, and beloved companion of Jan Greenwood, died Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was plant manager for J & J Corrugated Box Corp. and Rand-Whitney Containerboard. Besides his cherished companion he leaves a sister, Lorraine Pontes (late husband Wilfred); a nephew Alan Pontes and his wife Janet, and their children, Christine, Alison and Alan Richard Pontes, all of Fall River; a brother Joseph Motta and his wife Veronica; a niece, Valerie Latham and her husband Ross and many cousins. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church of Saints Peter and Paul Parish, Pulaski St., at 11:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
