Charles G. Morin

Charles G. Morin, 76, of Buffinton St., Fall River, died at home Wednesday, February 8, 2006. He was the husband of Rita E. (Marceau) Morin. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late J. Elzear and Georgianna (Robert) Morin. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by the former Guimond Farms, Fall River, a the Naval Base, Newport and Apex, Swansea. A member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, he enjoyed golfing and bowling. Besides his wife of 52 years, survivors include 2 sons, Dennis A. Morin and his wife Diane of Westport and Paul C. Morin of East Hartford, CT; a granddaughter, Deanna M. Morin; 2 brothers, E. Roger Morin and his wife Rita of Braintree, VT and Robert Morin of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, an aunt, Marie Mathieu and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
