Charles E. Macintyre

Charles E. Macintyre , 87, passed away on December 21, 2017. He was the son of the late Charles E. Macintyre and the late Jesse (Kershaw) Macintyre. Charles joins his wife of 65 years Eunice (O'Loughlin) Macintyre who passed away in August of 2016.

Charles, better known as Mac, was a devoted Husband, Dad, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his son Charles G. Macintyre, daughters Nancy L. Carvalho (husband Joe), Vicki L.Hathaway (husband Glenn) and Cheryl A. Phenix (husband Raymond) and daughter in-law Maria Macintyre. He was also the father of the late Jeffrey A. Macintyre.

Mac adored his grandchildren Jennifer L. Carvalho (Douglas Machado), Kyle G. Hathaway (wife Ashley), Jeffrey J. Carvalho (wife Kimberly), Christopher M. Hathaway (wife Ashlee), Ryan R. Phenix, Amber Macintyre, Alyssa Macintyre and the late Kimberlee Hathaway. He also leaves great-grandchildren, Camden and Colton Carvalho and Alivia Hathaway.

He also leaves a sister in-law, Shirley LaCava, a niece & nephews.

Mac was also the brother to the late Dorothy Macintyre.

Mac was an Air Force veteran and took great pleasure in reliving his military life telling stories to all who would listen. After leaving the service he went to work for Prudential Insurance as an agent, retiring after 38 years. But Mac's greatest pleasure was spending time with his family who will miss his laughter and kindness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral mass for Mac on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation and flowers are omitted.
