Charles "Chuck" Holland

Charles "Chuck" Holland, 87, of Stafford Rd., Fall River, husband of 64 years of Elaine F. (O'Neil) Holland, died Saturday, October 19, 2013. A Navy Seabees veteran of WW II and past-president of Local 526 Teamster's Union, he was employed by Mooney Distributors. He was a member of St. John's Athletic Club, Seaconnet Sportsman's Club, Saints Peter and Paul Parish Golden Oldies and active with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Saints Peter and Paul Parish and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. He was the father of the late Charles Holland, Stephen Holland (wife Susan), David Holland, the late Jeffrey Holland (wife Jeanne) and Matthew Holland (wife Toni); the grandfather of Kimberly Travis (husband Ronald, William, Jennifer and Christopher Holland, Abby Armitage and Lexie and Evan Caddy; the great-grandfather of River Travis and Anna Marie Armitage, the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (McDermott) Holland and the brother of the late Thomas Holland and Claire Marchetti, and also leaves nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Cross Church of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
