Charles H. "Chuck" Fallows

Charles H. "Chuck" Fallows, 73, of Fall River, husband of Marie (Reynolds) Fallows, entered into rest Wednesday, December 2, 2015. A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational High School and Bristol Community College, he was a Quality Control Engineer at Raytheon Co., Portsmouth, for 25 years and a Venus de Milo Restaurant Bartender for over 30 years. An avid swimmer who enjoyed the beach, he was a longtime Life Guard at Second Beach and Bailey's Beach, Newport and the Barrington YMCA, until retirement. A former member of the Fall River Country Club, he enjoyed golf , cherished time spent with his family and was "The Life of the Party". Besides his wife of 16 years, he leaves two daughters, Susan Kvilhaug and her husband Brian of Mattapoisett and Cheryl Cantara and her husband Jeffrey of Fairhaven; four grandchildren, Allison and Nathan Kvilhaug and Dylan and Kelly Cantara; a sister, Terry Higgins and her husband Jim of Tiverton and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Lahey) Fallows. His funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at the Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown MA 02472.
