Cecile (Charette) Turriani

Cecile (Charette) Turriani, 69, of Swansea, died Thursday, August 16, 2012. She was a Swansea Police Department dispatcher, food director at Diman Regional Vocational High School and Bishop Connolly High School, was employed at the Newport Naval Base and was supervisor at the Holiday Inn Express, Swansea. She enjoyed bingo, was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and most of all enjoyed life and helping others. She leaves a son, Brian Turriani of Swansea; siblings, Rose Correira and Irene Talbot, both of Ellenton, FL, and Robert Charette of Fall River; her beloved companion, Joseph Souza; her beloved pitbull "Kilo"; and nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Peter P. Turriani; and the daughter of the late Albert and Emilia (Francoeur) Charette. Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday, August 25, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
