Cecile Monteiro

Cecile (Dupre) Monteiro, 87, of Fall River, wife of the late Edmund P. "Eddy" Monteiro, entered into rest Monday, September 5, 2016.

She was employed by the former Ideal Bias Binding and was an active member and volunteer of the former St. Louis Parish.

She leaves two daughters, Ann Voltas and her husband James of Fall River and Barbara Silva and her husband Mark of Taunton; granddaughters, Laura C. Monteiro, Mallory K. Monteiro and Cherie Voltas; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jenna Voltas and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul W. Monteiro; the daughter of the late Delphis Dupre and Claudia (Jalbert) Barselou Dupre and the sister of the late Jeannette Mendoza, Alida Bushey, Irene Black, Lorraine Riley, Rhea Riley, Rene Dupre and Roland, Robert and Pierre Barselou.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown MA 02472.
