Cecile (Labonte) Levesque

Cecile (Labonte) Levesque, 89, of Fall River, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at The Oaks in New Bedford.

She was the wife of the late Norman L. “Pete” Levesque.

Cecile will be remembered as a very caring person. She volunteered teaching crafts, as she was a talented artist who did painting, ceramics and sewing. Her passion was  cooking and she loved cruising with her husband.

She leaves a daughter, Patricia “Patty” Travassos-Levesque; a son, Peter Levesque (wife Karen); two grandchildren, Amanda Smith Taylor and Peter “PJ” Levesque; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Jack; a sister, Pauline Quinn.  Cecile was the sister of the late Marie Claudette Claire Labonte, Maurice Labonte and Rev. Richard Labonte and the daughter of the late Wilfrid L. and Rose Alma (Joubert) Labonte.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 5 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 6 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
