Cecile Letourneau, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at the age of 96. Born on May 24, 1928, in Fall River, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles N. St. Pierre and Marie Louise (Paquette) St. Pierre.
Cecile lived a life dedicated to service and kindness, volunteering at the Charlton Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, where she touched countless lives with her warm smile and generous spirit. Her commitment to helping others was a hallmark of her character, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion in the community she loved. She bowled in various bowling leagues and also enjoyed quilting, sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Diane Letourneau, (late husband David Hathaway); her son, Paul E. Letourneau, and his wife Michelle; and her precious grandson, Lucas Letourneau.
Cecile was preceded in death by her husband, Normand Letourneau, as well as her siblings Ludger St. Pierre, Charles Joseph St. Pierre, Emile J. St. Pierre, Theresa Banville, Bernadette Banville, Marie Lamothe, Marie Ange Garant Tremblay, and Arsene St. Pierre.
Cecile's memory will be honored during visitation on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM, both taking place at Auclair Funeral Home, located at 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA 02721. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road, Fall River.
