Cecile L. (Thibault) Garant

Cecile L. (Thibault) Garant, 88, of Somerset, wife of Philip A. Garant, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023.

A former local restaurant worker, Cecile enjoyed sewing, knitting, walking, bowling, gardening and was an avid reader.

Besides her husband of 64 years, she leaves 5 children: Richard Garant (wife Doris and her children, Michael, Diane and Sean), Roger Garant (wife Elizabeth), Roland Garant (wife Monique), Jacqueline Pereira, Denise Weinkle (husband Robert), and grandchildren, Andrew and Stephanie Pereira.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Imelda (Gagne) and George Thibault, and sister of Robert Thibault, Adrian Thibault, Irene Gauvin and the late Morris Thibault.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 27 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.     Large parking area and barrier-free entrance at the rear of the funeral home

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28 at 10:00 A.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St.,Fall River.  Committal prayers following at Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
