Cecile L. (Fortin) Fernandes

Cecile L. (Fortin) Fernandes, 78, of 34 Whipple St. Fall River, died Sunday, January 9, 2011. She had been employed by Catholic Memorial Home. Survivors include 4 children, Howard W. Vizthum, Jr. (wife Robin) of Norwich, CT, Laurel J. Silva (husband Lawrence) of Dunedin, Florida, Wendy M. Laventure (husband Scott) of East Freetown and Anita D. Burr (companion David Fournier) of New Bedford; 2 stepchildren, Kevin Fernandes and Donna Boudreau (husband Dennis) all of Florida; siblings Anita Risavich of CT, and Philip Fortin, of Palm Bay, FL; her former husband Manuel Fernandes of New Bedford;12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Jean (St.Pierre) Fortin. Following cremation, calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So.
