Cecile L. (Beauparlant) Doige

Cecile L. (Beauparlant) Doige, 93, of Fairhaven, formerly of Main Rd., Tiverton and No. Main St., Fall River, died Monday, July 17, 2006. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Doige. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Amie Beauparlant and Marie (Canuel) Beauparlant-Gagnon, she lived in Tiverton and Fall River for many years and in Fairhaven for the past few years. A licensed practical nurse, she enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a former member of Ocean State Senior Citizens Club and Saconnet Senior Citizens Club. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jean I. Perry Chouinard and her husband Andre Chouinard of British Columbia, Canada and Ann M. Rocha Nazarchyk and her husband Raymond Nazarchyk of Fairhaven; a son, Robert A. Doige of Fall River; 3 sisters, Anita Raposa, Suzanne Fitzgerald and Doris Gagnon, all of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, Suzanne Gardella, Daniel and Edward Rocha, Beth Ann Potter, Christopher Norris and Rebecca Hupp; 10 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leona Gancarski and Homer and Romeo Beauparlant. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton. Calling hours Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
