Carolyn (Denmead) Silvia

Carolyn (Denmead) Silvia, of Swansea, Wife of the late Paul Silvia, passed away after a brief illness on June 14, 2023.  She was 77.

Carolyn was the daughter of the late John and Hilda (Souza) Denmead. She worked for Bristol Elder Services and the Swansea Council on Aging where she assisted elderly residents by serving Meals on Wheels and shopping for residents.  Carolyn truly enjoyed her job as she always enjoyed helping people.

Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, going for long car rides especially to the Cape and Newport with her companion, and cooking.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by a daughter Kimberly Kennedy (husband, the late Russell Kennedy); grandchildren Khrystyne Pimentel (husband, Matthew and their son CJ), Jacob Kennedy (girlfriend, Briannah), Kalynn Martins (husband, Joel and their children Samuel and Lydia), Ryan Kennedy and Lauren Ferreira; and a sister, Linda Desnoyers (husband Charlie).

Carolyn was also the companion of Ken Fico.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  Burial to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Rd. Bourne.
