Caroline (Laflamme) Charest, 91, of Tiverton, RI and Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Fall River, MA, widow of Benoit J. Charest, died Saturday, August 21, 2010. A former co-owner of New Method Laundry and employee of Superior Cleansers, she enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She leaves 2 children, Doris Minior and her husband John of Tiverton and Roger Charest and his wife Patty of Port St. Lucie, FL; 6 grandchildren, Christopher and Gregory Minior, Caroline (Minior) Furtado, Richard Charest, Deborah (Charest) Hogsten and Todd Charest; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; siblings, Celestine Dube and Raymond Laflamme, both of Swansea, Gertrude Charest and Lucien "Jack" Laflamme, both of Fall River and Roger Laflamme of Somerset; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Celina (Paquette) Laflamme and the sister of the late Marguerite Trenholme and Jeannette Charest. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church, Fall River at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
