Carol (Cordeiro) Chandanais

Carol (Cordeiro) Chandanais, 73, of Vale St., Fall River widow of Alfred E. "Fred" Chandanais, entered into rest peacefully with family by her side, Wednesday, June 5, 2013. She leaves 2 daughters, Karen and Susan, sons Paul Cabral of Fall River and Henry Chandanais and his fiancée Danielle Chubb of New Bedford; a stepson, Steven Chandanais of Fall River; siblings, David Cordeiro and his wife Madlyn of Somerset and Theresa Souza and her husband Leonard of Fall River; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Pimental) Cordeiro; the sister of the late John Cordeiro and the stepmother of the late Ronald Chandanais. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Carol's family is grateful to the staffs of the Highlander and Crawford nursing homes and Charlton Memorial Hospital's ICU for the exceptional care they provided.
