Carol Burton

Carol Burton, died peacefully at Somerset Ridge, Wednesday, December 9, 2009. An X-Ray technician, she studied at Northeastern University and trained and worked at Truesdale Hospital. She was the daughter of Eunice M. (Almy) Burton of Assonet and the late Arthur L. Burton, and the sister of the late Bruce Burton (wife, late Patricia). Besides her mother she leaves a nephew, Brian Burton (wife Lisa) of Fall River; three nieces, Brenda Holderness (husband Thomas) and Lori Pavao (husband Joseph), all of Fall River and Beth Schoonover of Swansea; and a cousin, Grace Stanley of Virginia. She was the dear friend of the late Shirley Wesneski. A memorial mass will be held Friday, December 18, at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard Church, Assonet. Visitation and flowers omitted.
