Carmen P. Zinni

Carmen P. Zinni, 82, of Vermont Ave., Somerset, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Gagnon) Zinni. Born in Barrington, Rhode Island, the son of the late Nicholas and Concetta (DiVirgilio) Zinni, he lived in Somerset for the past 43 years. He operated Zinni Novelty Co. for many years and was a woodworking foreman for Emblem and Badge, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Royal Travelers and St. Patrick Parish, Somerset. Besides his wife of 47 years, he is survived by a son, Paul A. Zinni and his wife Catherine of Taunton; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexandra Zinni; 2 sisters, Susan Zinni of Warren and Anna Perry of Bristol; a brother, Louis Zinni of Arizona and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Frank and Anthony Zinni, Rose Lenardo, Mary Carusi and Jennie Silva. His funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, Somerset at 11:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
