Carlos DaCosta, 88, of Fall River, husband of Maria (Pacheco) Costa, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020.

A machine operator for Parks Co., he was an avid Benfica fan.

Besides his wife of 62 years, he leaves three children, Carlos A. Costa (companion of 20 years, Fernanda M. Rego), Maria N. Amaral (husband Helder) and Jose M. Costa (wife Gail) all of Fall River; nine grandchildren, Kenneth, Scotty, Stephanie, CJ, Tyler, Kelsey, Kyara, Dominic and Angel; eight great-grandchildren, Sacred, Christian, Serenity, Kennedi, Ariah, Audrey, Anabella and Londyn; a sister, Isabel Cabral of New Bedford and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one sister and three brothers and his parents, Fransisco DaCosta and Margarida Martins.

His funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
