Carisa L. "Fitzy" Fitzgerald

Carisa L. "Fitzy" Fitzgerald, 35, of Fall River, daughter of Michael and Nancy (Medeiros) Fitzgerald, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 from injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident. A Durfee High School graduate, she was a member of the first Durfee High School girls softball team to win the State Championship. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed fishing, the beach and being with her friends. Besides her parents she leaves grandparents, Louis and Marjorie (Farias) Medeiros of Somerset and Suzanne (Beauparlant) Fitzgerald (late husband Edward) of Colorado Springs, CO and aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation, Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
