Bryant J. Mcmillan

July 4, 1949 — May 13, 2018

Bryant J. McMillan, 68, of Somerset, husband of Sheila H. (Daveau) McMillan, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 13, 2018. A retired teacher, he was employed by the Fall River Public School System He taught at Matthew Kuss Middle School. After his retirement from Kuss, he was employed by Lewis Properties, East Providence, RI. Bryant loved to entertain family and friends, and make them laugh. He would always say "a party without music and dancing was not a real party". He loved having his family and friends to his bar in his home to entertain and dance with them to all of his favorite songs on his two juke boxes. He was always the life of the party!
Besides his wife of 32 years, he leaves a brother, Robert H. McMillan of Fall River, a brother-in-law John C. Costa, Sr. of Dighton, a Godson, Owen Costa of Dartmouth;
nieces and nephews who he admired greatly, Marc Lavoie (wife Ingrid) of Wakefield, RI, John Costa, Jr. of Dighton, Susan Bradley of Bristol, RI, Patty Lavoie of Tiverton and Ann Costa of New Bedford. He was the brother of the late Anne C. Lavoie (husband late Andre) and the late Joan E. Costa (husband John C. Costa Sr.), the Godfather of the late John Michael Costa and the son of the late James and Ethel "Dolly" (Bryant) McMillian.
His funeral was private.
