Brian Christopher Mccann

Brian Christopher "Grampy" McCann, 72, of Fall River, husband of Irene (DuPont) McCann, died Saturday, January 21, 2012. He was employed by Haddon House Food Products and had served six years in the Marine Corps. Brian attended St. Mary Grammar School, Coyle High School and Bryant College. He cherished time spend with his grandchildren and loved cheering them on at the sporting events they participated in. He was well known to many of his grandchildren's friends as "Grampy". He was the son of the late Patrick and Rita (Levesque) McCann. Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves 2 daughters, Patricia Cantin (husband Daniel) of Swansea and Kimberly McCann (fiance Bill Argo) of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Meghann Gould (husband Bryan) of Middletown, RI, Brianne C. Cabral, RN of Fall River and Jared D. Cantin of Swansea; 2 great-grandchildren, Caoilainn and Aislinn Gould, a brother, Terrance D. McCann (wife Pauline) of Fall River, sister-in-law Theresa McCann of Dartmouth (wife of his late brother, Paul McCann) , 4 nieces and 3 nephews, and his fury grandchildren, Kahulha, Fenway and Remi. Following cremation, a funeral mass in celebration of his life will be held Saturday in Good Shepherd Church, So. Main St. at 11:00 a.m. Reception following.
