Blanche (Medeiros) Texeira

Blanche A. (Medeiros) Texeira, 80, of Fall River, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Saint Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late John B. "Tex" Texeira. The daughter of the late John and Elsie (Belanger) Medeiros, she lived in Fall River most of her life. She worked in the garment industry and for Charlton Memorial Hospital and enjoyed bingo and country line dancing. Survivors include a sister, Irene M. Howance of Fall River; 2 brothers- in-law, Antone Howance and Manuel Texeira; nieces and nephews including Shirley Derosia, Steven Howance and Kenneth and Clifford Texeira and great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur Belanger and John J. and Frank H. Medeiros. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00. Cremation to follow.
