Beverly D. (Sherman) Valois

Beverly D. (Sherman) Estrella Valois, 73, of Johnson St. "Hillside Manor", Fall River, wife of Vincent Valois, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009. She was employed at the Torpedo Station, Newport, many years ago and enjoyed arts & crafts, knitting and camping. Besides her husband she leaves, 10 children, David Chandler (wife Deb) of Colorado, State Representative, Lt. Col. Kris Roberts, USMC, Ret. (wife Lucille) of Keene, NH, Rebecca O'Connor (husband Charles) of Fall River, Steven Sherman of Nebraska, Joseph "Pete" Sherman (wife Bobbi) and Dennis Sherman (wife Susan), all of Fall River, Raymond Sherman (wife Sandra) of Westport and Jeffrey Estrella (wife Colleen), Vincent Valois (wife Marla) and Benjamin Valois, all of Fall River; 34 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara L. Valente, C. Roberta Chandler and Bradford Sherman, all of Rhode Island; stepchildren, Rita Lopes and Millie Soares, both of Fall River and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Shawn and Beth Sherman; the daughter of the late Ellery and Ethel (Robertson) Sherman and the sister of the late Bruce Sherman. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
