Beverly Wray (Pearman) Corgino, of Somerset, died unexpectedly at home Wednesday, January 11, 2006. She was the beloved wife of Frank Lorenz Corgino, Jr. Born in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of the late Wray Parks and Amber Gaynelle (Jones) Pearman, she resided in Richmond, Virginia and Washington, DC for many years and in Somerset for the past 42 years. A graduate of Holy Cross Academy, Corcoran School of Art and Design and George Washington University, she was an executive secretary for Pratt and Whitney, Washington, DC and for Fall River United X-Ray and was the registrar for the Fall River, New Bedford and Taunton Beauty Academies. She was a Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Chaplin. Besides her husband of 49 years, she leaves a daughter, Lorinda Wray Corgino-Teixeira and her husband William J. of Bristol, RI; a grandson, Liam Wallace Teixeira of Bristol; 2 sisters-in-law, Angela Corgino-Van Straten of Manchester, CT and Lorraine Corgino Brennan of Fall River and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ted Pearman and the sister-in-law of the late Rita Corgino Simmons. Beverly was a good friend to those who knew her and will be truly missed. Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held Saturday, January 21, at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol RI. Calling hours Friday 3:00 to 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
