Bertha (Laroche) St.Pierre, 80, of Oliver St., Fall River, formerly of Pleasant St. and Essex St., widow of Omer J. St.Pierre, died Saturday, July 26, 2008.
Born in Canastota, NY, the daughter of the late Lucien and Rose (Jean) Laroche, she lived in Swansea for many years and in Fall River most of her life.
She leaves 3 children, Simone Lafleur and her husband Robert of No. Dartmouth, Richard L. St.Pierre and his fiancée Fatima Sheffield and Michelle Wood, all of Fall River; a daughter-in-law, Ann St.Pierre of Warwick, RI; 8 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, siblings, Robert Laroche of Wallingford, Ct., Noella Mongeau of Pawtucket, RI and Raymond Laroche, Gertrude Carpentier and Henry Laroche, all of Swansea; her beloved companion Joseph Morin of Somerset and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul G. St.Pierre and Normand R. St.Pierre and the sister of the late George Laroche.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 9:00 AM.
Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
