Bertha C. (Madore) Morrissette

Bertha C. (Madore) Morrissette, 88, of Fall River, wife of the late Normand W. Morrissette, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017.

She was employed by Our Lady's Religious Store and the Priest's Hostel and was a member of the Citizens for Citizens Board of Directors and St. Anne Fellowship. She was also a Eucharistic Minister and Cub Scout Den Mother.

She leaves three children, Gerald Morrissette and his wife Vivianne of Fall River, Pauline Phelan and her husband William of Warwick, RI and Kenneth Morrissette and his wife Cristine of North Dartmouth: grandchildren, Scott Morrissette, Dr. Jon Morrissette (wife Carly), Timothy Morrissette (wife Vanessa), Gregory, Michelle, Erin, Jacob and Allyson Morrissette, Bethany Gomes (husband Derek), Stephen Phelan (wife Nicole) and Keith Phelan (wife Jessica); great-grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, Jack, Angela, Preston, Madison, Brayden, Declan, Reese and Drew; a sister, Annette Morrell of New Bedford and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ronald Morrissette (wife Arline Shephard of Florida); the daughter of the late Emile and Paula (Goyette) Madore and the sister of the late Roland Madore, Lauretta Dozois and Dolores Polselli.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Shrine at 10:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Thursday, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 99 Broad St., Fall River MA 02724-2025.
