Bertha Masciarelli

Bertha (Palmer) Masciarelli, 87, of 2446 Highland Ave., formerly of Pebble Street, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Catholic Memorial Home after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Pilkington) Palmer. She worked in Fall River's garment industry. Throughout her life she enjoyed music, reading, crocheting, gardening and family vacations. She leaves a husband of 66 years, Bertionio Masciarelli of Fall River, a son, Benjamin (& his wife Durelle) Masciarelli of Merrimack, N.H., grandsons, Scott Masciarelli of Reston, VA., and Brian Masciarelli of Merrimack, N.H. , several nieces, a nephew, and cousins. She was sister of the late Louis P. Palmer. Visitation Wednesday from 6 to 8:00 PM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME 690 S. Main St. Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Her funeral mass will be held Thursday at 9:30 A.M in Catholic Memorial Home Chapel. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
