Bertha E. Fournier

Bertha E. Fournier, 103, of Amity St., Fall River, formerly of Bowers St., daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Bernard) Fournier, sister of the late Horace, Henry and Anthony Fournier and sister-in-law of the late Rose Fournier and Doria Fournier Couture, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007. A graduate of Thibodeau Business College, she was employed by the City of Fall River, Minimum Housing Department. She was a member of the Children of Mary of St. Anne Parish, St. Anne Senior Citizens Club, the Friends of Saint Anne's Hospital and the Retired Fall River Municipal Employees Association. She leaves, nephews and a niece, Maurice Fournier and his wife Elizabeth, Paul Fournier and his wife Andrea, Richard Fournier, Jeannine Turcotte and her husband Adrien and Bernard Fournier and his former wife Martha H.; great-nieces and nephews, Maurice, Matthew and Christopher Fournier, Susan Aguiar, Laurie Godwin and Ryan Turcotte; great-great-nieces and nephews, Andre and Isaiah Godwin and Abigail and Olivia Aguiar and her devoted and caring caregivers at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Her funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Anne Church, with everyone invited to go directly to the church. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. PORTICO, LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
