Beatrice "Bea" (Roy) Perry

August 21, 1926 — November 4, 2014

Beatrice "Bea" (Roy) Perry, 88, of Fall River, widow of Kenneth N. Perry, died peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Catholic Memorial Home. Originally from the Flint section of Fall River and growing up in the Notre Dame community she worked at Kerr Mill and was one of the original employees of White's Restaurant of Westport. Later on she and her husband were apartment managers. Their job consisted of traveling to many new residences in Upstate New York, Texas, Florida, Tennessee back to New York and eventually retiring on their beloved Cape Cod were she cared for her husband throughout his longtime illness. She was the Mother of the late Janice Perry formerly of Fall River and the late Christine Perry formerly of Dennis, Cape Cod; the grandmother of Leslie (Ferry) Helger (husband Ray) of Little Compton, Lawrence Ferry, III (wife Susan) of Tiverton and Danielle (Larrimore) Sylvia (husband Chris) of Cape Cod; the great-grandmother of Cody and Jesse Helger, Nora Sylvia and Lawrence Joseph Ferry, IV; the daughter of the late Oscar and Alice (Antaya) Roy; the sister of Germaine Monastero; the late Adrien Roy and Eva Manosh. Following cremation, her funeral mass will be held Friday, November 14, at the Catholic Memorial Home Chapel, at 9:30 AM. All are invited to attend. Burial will be private. Bea's grandchildren are so very grateful to all of the staff of Catholic Memorial Home and requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Catholic Memorial Home Activities Fund, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River MA 02720.
