Beatrice (Martineau) Heywood

Beatrice M. (Martineau) Mason Heywood, 95, of Fall River, wife of the late Norman Heywood, and former wife of the late Stanley Mason, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. She had also resided in Tiverton for many years.

She was the mother of James Raymond Mason of (late wife Jane) of Oklahoma, and the late Betty Jane Mason, Stanley Mason and William F. Mason; the grandmother of Staci Lyn Beaver, Brad Mason, Andrea Costa and Andrew Mason Maxwell; the mother-in-law of Elaine Mason and Denise Lamothe; the sister of Roland Martineau of Swansea and Germaine Ronka of California and the late Joseph Raymond Martineau, Edna Dumas, Doris Auger and Theresa Normandin and the daughter of the late William and Aurore (Legault) Martineau. She also leaves great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM.

Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:00 AM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 So. Main St., Fall River MA 02724.
