Barry D. Medeiros, 36, of Newport News, Virginia, formerly of Foote St., Fall River, died Thursday, August 9, 2007. The son and stepson of Denna (Baldwin) Solomon and Ray Solomon of Fall River and David Medeiros and Ann Medeiros of Arizona, he lived in Fall River most of his life and in Newport News for the past 18 months. A graduate of Durfee High School, he was employed by Dover Stamping, Chase Leather Products, Reflex Corp, Electric Boat division of General Dynamics, Quonset Pt., RI and CTR, Newport News. He enjoyed outdoor life and spending time with his son.
Besides his parents, he leaves, sons, Aaron Soares of Dartmouth, MA and Barry Medeiros of Newport News; siblings, Cynthia Cotton of Florida, Renee True of Newport News, Paulette Geoppo of Providence, RI and Kristopher Inglis of Newport News; grandmothers, Gwendolyn Storer of Fall River and Lucy Medeiros of Westport, MA; aunts, Cindy Storer Blazer, Kristine Baldwin and Lucy Medeiros; uncles, George White, Earl, Barry, Bruce and Brian Baldwin and Bobby, Junior, Ronnie, Anthony and Tommy Medeiros and nieces and nephews.
Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are asked to dress casual and are invited to share reflections at 7:30 PM. Cremation to follow. Please omit flowers.
