Barbara (Silva) Medeiros, 94, of Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River, formerly of Ridge St., widow of Agostinho Medeiros, died Friday, August 9, 2013. She was the mother of Maria Augustia Cabeceiras (husband Antonio) of Assonet, Jose Medeiros (wife Connie) of Fall River, the late Miguel Medeiros (wife Osvalda of Fall River) and the late Maria "Connie" Fernandes (husband Serafim of Fall River); the grandmother of Richard Cabeceiras (wife Ana), Chris Cabeceiras, Sandy Medeiros, Sandy Fernandes, Rui Fernandes, Herman Medeiros, Kevin Fernandes (wife Melissa) and Stacey Medeiros; the great-grandmother of Dylan Fernandes, Karina Cabeceiras and Aryanna Oliveira and also leaves nieces and nephews. Born in Santo Antonio, Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Miguel and Maria DaSilva and the sister of the late Manuel, Joao, Miguel and Antonio DaSilva, Maria Soares and Mariana Cabral. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Santo Christo Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
