Barbara (Silvia) Marcoux

Barbara (Silvia) Marcoux, 75, of Fall River, wife of Michael Marcoux, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at home. A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, she was employed by Taunton State Hospital, Paul Dever State School and Corrigan Mental Health.

Barbara enjoyed reading, crafting, coloring, watching the Hallmark Channel and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband of 43 years, she leaves two sons, Christopher Marcoux (wife Kimberly) of Dighton and Justin Marcoux of Pascoag, RI; four siblings, Lawrence Silvia, Jeffrey Silvia (wife Rima), Gary Silvia and Laurie Zmuda (partner Rory Choquette); many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was the sister of the late Daniel Silvia and the daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Soares) Silvia.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 29 at 9:00 A.M. from the funeral home with a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Name Church, Hanover St. Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
