Fall River

Ashlyn Jayde Lavoie, 31, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Ashlyn touched countless lives. She was laughter in its purest form. She had this rare ability to always make everyone feel important, seen, and heard. Her luminous smile always shined from within. Many never knew she was unwell, because Ashlyn always chose to focus on lifting others up. She believed in the unseen, in the power of intention, and in the beauty of the human spirit.

Her life was enriched by a variety of interests. She cherished reading and journaling and often turned her thoughts into poetry. She had an adventurous spirit that led her to explore new places, travel to breathtaking beaches, and embrace the beauty of nature.

While suffering in silence, Ashlyn completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, became a Licensed Practical Nurse, and a certified Reiki Practitioner.

Ashlyn has been the light in the lives of so many, not just because of her laughter or the way she lit up a room, but because of the way she cared so deeply, loved so fully, and lived so gracefully.

There are people in this world who are born with a light inside them. Not loud or flashy, but steady and warm, like a light that would always shine through the darkness. Ashlyn was that light for so many. She had this rare gift of making everyone feel safe and important. No matter what was happening in her own life, she always showed up for others.

Ashlyn didn’t let cancer define her. She showed strength while enduring pain. She lived every day with hope and bravery. Her life was a quiet miracle, unfolding in every connection she made. Although her time here was far too short, her light remains carried in the hearts of those she helped, those she loved, and those who now carry her inspiration forward.

There is magic within Ashlyn, something that words could never describe. She didn’t just live, she radiated.

Ashlyn is survived by her beloved mother, Rachel A. (Pellerin) Peltier; her brothers Kaiden Peltier and Collin Silva; her maternal grandmother, Murielle (Roy) Pellerin; her aunt, Raquel Pellerin, and her cousin, Kyle Pellerin. She was also "Auntie Ashlyn" to the two most special boys in her life, Kameron and Kole Pellerin.

On her paternal side she is survived by her father, Roger J. Lavoie Jr.; grandfather, Roger J. Lavoie Sr. and his spouse Karen; her aunts and uncles, Kimberly and Thomas Spear and Lorie and Marc Dupuis; and her cousins Chaz, Collin, Brett, Jaron, and Dylan.

Besides her immediate family she is survived by the love of her life Trevor Vieira; her girlfriends that were more like sisters; her special little girls Reagan and Amelia Furtado and Royce Ross; and her special cousins and godparents that shared an unbreakable bond with Ashlyn.
