Arthur C. Lavault

Arthur C. Lavault, 77, of Florence St., Tiverton, husband of the late Marie "Dot" (Boudreau) Lavault, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5392, Tiverton and the Buick Club of America. A Master Carpenter, he was employed by the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Newport. He leaves 2 children, Doreen Ann Travers and her husband Gary and Arthur C. Lavault, II, all of Tiverton; 2 granddaughters, Laura Emond and Ashley Travers; siblings, Dorothy Worsley of Fall River, Pauline Dunn of Palm Harbor, Florida, Roger Lavault of Dover, NH and Normand LaVault of Middletown, RI and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Conrad and Lauretta (Tremblay) Lavault and the brother of the late Lorraine Lavoie. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
