Armand A. Hamel

Armand A. Hamel, 70, of Edmond Lane, Tiverton, husband of Dolores A. (Vincent) Hamel, died Sunday, July 29, 2007. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Joseph N. "Paul" and Justina (Theriault) Hamel, he lived in Tiverton for the past 42 years. He was employed by Olin Plastics, Assonet for several years and by the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, No. Kingston, RI for 26 years, retiring in 2000. Besides his wife of 50 years, he leaves, daughters, Michelle Guillemette and her husband Michael A. and Valerie Medeiros and her husband Michael E., all of Fall River; grandsons, Michael and Bryant Guillemette and Jared Medeiros; siblings, Maurice Hamel of No. Carolina and Phyllis Borden of Fall River and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
