Armand U. Guillemette

Armand U. Guillemette, 80, of Schertz, Texas (a San Antonio suburb), formerly of Fall River, husband of Claire (Levesque) Guillemette, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014. A veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, Master Sergeant Guillemette served in the Air Force for 22 years and was employed by the US Postal Service for many years. Besides his wife of 60 years, he leaves seven children, Ronald, Diane Martin (husband Joe), Philip Guillemette (wife Jodi), Elaine Brookshire (husband Chuck), Sharon Forinash (husband Glenn), Peter Guillemette (wife Reine) and Vivian McKenzie (husband Ron); 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (wife Phyllis) and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Edouard and Eva (Paquette) Guillemette and the brother of the late Beatrice LaPointe and Grace, Fernand and Edgar Guillemette. His graveside committal service will be held Monday, August 25 at 11:00 AM at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River section 6B (his brother-in-law Rev. Roger Levesque officiating).
