Arlene R. (Peloquin) Lafrance

Arlene R. (Peloquin) LaFrance, 87, of Fall River, wife of the late David L. LaFrance, died Monday, December 5, 2016. A devoted wife and mother, she was able to live in her own home until the age of 86. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and making her own clothing.

She leaves 3 sons, Kevin D. LaFrance of Oakley, CA, SCPO Barry D. LaFrance, USN, Ret. and his wife Jacqueline of Santa Clara, CA, and David R. LaFrance of Fall River; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Shawn, Brittany, Devin, Morgan, Brandon and Kaylee LaFrance; a great-grandson, Graeyson; her daughter in law Jennifer LaFrance of Little Compton; siblings Robert L. Peloquin of Michigan and Claire R. Mercier of Westport; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joan A. Delisle and the daughter of the late Roland A. and Catherine (McNamara) Peloquin.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 13, at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation, Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
