Arlene M. (Travers) Eckard

Arlene M. (Travers) Eckard, 88, of Swansea, formerly of Somerset, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 6, 2021.

She was the wife of the late Burt H. Eckard.

Her family and friends meant the world to her.

Born in Fall River she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Edna (Langner) Travers.

She was the mother of Paula Ouellette (husband late Steven), Richard Eckard (wife Darlene) and the late Deborah Mendes; she also leaves a son-in-law Mark Mendes; grandchildren, Christopher Ouellette and Matthew Ouellette (wife Kimberly), Gregory Mendes and David Mendes (wife Nicole) and Brittany Eckard; great-grandchildren, Drake, Bailey, Devon, Madeline, Riley, Hailey and Ophelia;

She was the sister of the late Barbara Ryan and Richard Travers.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.  Burial will be private.
