Arlene F. Charrette, 90, a long-time resident of Fall River and later Tiverton, RI, died Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 in Concord, NH. Born in Assonet, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Curtin) Ferry, she was the wife of the late Leo F. Charrette. Arlene worked as a seamstress and was a member of the ILGWU. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and was a member of the Columbiettes, of the Fr. Boehr Council, Knights of Columbus. She is survived by her son, Frank Charrette and his wife, Barbara, of Manchester, NH and her four grandchildren, Dr. Jason Charrette (Windham, CT), Anna (Charrette) Gwaltney (Greensboro, NC), Kyle Charrette (Rollinsford, NH) and Wayne Charrette (Manchester, NH). Predeceased by her brothers, John Ferry, Lawrence Ferry and her sister Estelle (Ferry) Cuillo, she is also survived by her husbands sister, Margaret Desrosiers and her husband, Robert, along with nephews and nieces. A graveside memorial will be held on March 11th at 9:00 AM at the St. Patricks Cemetery in Fall River.
