Antonio J. Carvalho

Antonio J. Carvalho, 61, of Somerset, formerly of June St., Fall River, husband of Maria (Lima) Carvalho and son of Adelina (Moniz) Carvalho, died Friday, January 9, 2009. Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a member of Local 151 Laborers International Union of North America. Besides his wife of 40 years and mother of Fall River, he leaves 2 children, Aida Barselou and Robert Carvalho and his wife Lucy, all of Somerset; granddaughters, Tayla Carvalho, Mckenzy Barselou and Hannah Carvalho; 8 siblings, Angelo Carvalho, John Carvalho, Carlos Carvalho, Anna Pimental, Lina Garcia and Ida Arruda, all of Fall River, Fernando Carvalho of Westport and Lurdes Saraiva of Warwick. He was the son of the late Angelo Carvalho and the brother of the late Duarte Carvalho, Alice Pimental and Jose Carvalho. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 10:30 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
