Antone "Tony" Roies

Antone "Tony" Roies, 88, of Tiverton, died Friday, April 3, 2015. An Army veteran of WW II and Navy Veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tiverton. A former employee of Frito-Lay, he also worked in construction for Louis Medeiros. He leaves a daughter, Lori Diaz of Falmouth; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Medeiros of Tiverton and Laura Levesque with whom he resided; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John and Theresa (Souza) Roies and the brother of the late Mary Medeiros, Beatrice Souza, Alice Felix, Jo Ann Oliveira, Dennis Roies and John Roies.
