Antoinette (Bourgeois) Tardif, 102, of Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Nashua St., died Thursday, November 5, 2009. She was employed by the former Shawomut, Charlton, Hoffman and Lyon manufacturing companies and the former Truesdale Hospital. She was the widow of Jules Tardif; the daughter of the late Fortunat and Lea (Boissinot) Bourgeois; the sister of the late Blanche Fontaine Audette and Cyrille and Fortunat Bourgeois and the aunt of Normand Fontaine, Jeanne Bienvenue, Richard Bourgeois, Alfred and Roger Audette and the late Irene Sardinha-Medeiros, Lillian Rioux and Normand Audette. She also leaves a goddaughter Margaret Hyslop, grand-nieces-and-nephews including a guardian, Normand L. Fontaine of Little Compton, RI. Her funeral will be heldSaturday, November 14, 2009 at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
