Anthony Franco

Anthony "Cookie" Franco, 67, of Fall River, died Sunday, August 3, 2008. A trumpet player, he played in the Cookie And The Rendells' Band. He worked at the Old Trail Café, owned by his father; Survivors include children Michael Gifford of Charlton, MA, Jeffrey and Jennifer Gifford, Tammy Levesque, Tony, Scott, Pamela and Karen Franco, all of Fall River; siblings Joan Brionne and William Franco, both of Fall River, Ursula Russo of Westport and Jerry Davol of Florida, numerous grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Antone and Mary (Davol) Franco. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:45 AM from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 10:30 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation Wednesday prior to funeral from 8 to 9:45 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
