Annette (Vaillancourt) Martin, age 85, of Fall River passed away peacefully on June 29, 2015 in Fall River after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Everett Martin, her husband of 62 years, and the daughter of Ignace and Marie (Levesque) Vaillancourt. For many years, she worked in the textile industry at Lexcraft Manufacturing as well as at other union shops. She attended Notre Dame School in Fall River. Annette was a parishioner of Holy Name Church. "Mimay" was an amazing seamstress who enjoyed puzzle making, playing cards, baking and spending time at home with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Audrey T. Vieira and her husband Michael J. of Swansea, Gregory Martin and wife Sally (Petisca) of Fall River; her four grandchildren Anne (Vieira) Lachance and her husband Alan, Jonathan Vieira of Swansea, Sarah Martin and Benjamin Martin of Fall River; and her great grandson, Kyle Michael Lachance. Annette was also the sister of Jeanne Bouley of Fall River, Helen Hart of Somerset and Richard Vaillancourt of Tiverton, RI. She was part of a large family that included her late sisters Augustine Caya, Blanche Allie, Cecile Bailey, Theresa Gagne, and Lorraine Egger, as well as brothers Paul, Robert and Henry Vaillancourt, as well as many nieces and nephews. Annette's funeral will be held on Friday, July 3 at 8:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Name Church, Hanover St., Fall River at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
