Annette (Arsenault) Gagnon, 85, of Smith St., Fall River, widow of Eugene Gagnon, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009. She was employed by Fall River Knitting Mills for 33 years and was a Marian Medal recipient and Eucharistic Minister, member of the Altar and Rosary Society, past-president of the Council of Catholic Women and member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the former St. Jean Baptiste Parish. Named Franco-American of the year by the Franco-American Civic League, she was past-president of District 1, Council of Catholic Women. She leaves 3 children, Raymond E. Gagnon and his wife Diane of Barrington, NH and Claudette Dion and Paul Gagnon, both of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, Christine Manns, Jason and Jonathan Dion and Paul, Alyssa and Troy Gagnon; 7 great-grandchildren, Charles, Cecile and Christian Manns and Trevor, Brian, Nicole and Cody Dion and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Adelia (Emond) Arsenault and the sister of the late Roland and Romeo Arsenault. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
