Anne E. Sullivan, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, died Monday, February 12, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Genevieve (Trainor) Sullivan. Ever a truly dedicated professional, she moved from a teacher's aide position to teacher and to supervisor of elementary education for special needs students in the City of Fall River. She was a courageous and vocal advocate for her students and teachers, a faithful friend, a loving sister and aunt extraordinaire to Liam and Brendan. A sportswoman, she played tennis and golf and enjoyed kayaking on the Westport River. She is survived by a brother Peter J. Sullivan and his wife Catherine of Tiverton 2 nephews, Liam Sullivan of Fall River and Brendan Sullivan of New York City and an aunt Marion Grourke of Pawtucket, RI. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, followed by a funeral mass in Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends will share reflections from 8:15 to 9:15 AM. Visitation, Friday 3:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
