Anna F. (Rapoza) Savitch-Allen

Anna F. (Rapoza) Savitch-Allen, 78, of Fall River, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at home.  She was the former wife of the late Joseph Savitch.  She graduated from Fall River Beauty Academy and worked as a hairdresser at Maries, Lorraines and Niagara Beauty Shops. She also received a certificate in floral design.  In her early years, Anna was employed by Reliable Sportswear, Plymouth Sportswear and Louis Hand Inc. and employed as a lunch aide at the McDonough School. She enjoyed making chocolates, playing Bingo and making floral designs.

Anna was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Women’s Guild.  A Child of Mary at Santo Christo Parish, she worked the concession stands at the feast for over 30 years and was a CCD teacher.

She was the devoted mother of Valerie Sarlo (husband Joseph), Holly Cabral (husband John) and the late Tonya Savitch; grandmother of Justin Rocha, Jay Moniz, Joel Sarlo, Talyn Cabral, Caiden Cabral and Jamison Holden and a God daughter, Robin Thompson.

She was the sister of the late Hilda Zitano, Alice Sharp, David, Gabriel and Daniel Rapoza and the daughter of the late Manuel F. and Deolinda (Mendoza) Rapoza.
